Originally from San Mateo, California, Kim Morosi, has been involved in various sports since 8 years old, her dad instilled the passion for sports since he noticed her desire for competing and physical activity which came naturally.  Her introduction to sports started with biking and gymnastics, then competitively swimming, cross country & track.  She won several medals, trophies, inducted into the Mid-Peninsula Mariners Hall of Fame, 2nd in the state of Connecticut for the 2 mile run, and 13th place in the New England championships in the 2 mile run.  Around 13 years ago, she started lifting weights to gain muscle to help improve her performance with track.  She took this very seriously, by getting to the gym by 5am, followed by going to school, 5 days a week.  Her training regiment continued for several years, until she wanted to take her training to the next level.  So after moving back to California in 2000, she worked with a personal trainer for 2 years which instilled the core training fundamentals that has propelled Kim’s physique to the highest level it has ever been.

She has an Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies from College of San Mateo and a Bachelor of Arts in Recreation from San Francisco State University.  She has a Personal Fitness Trainer Certification through American Aerobic Association International (AAAI) & International Sports Medicine Association (ISMA) and Sports Nutrition Consultant Certification through American Aerobic Association International (AAAI) & International Sports Medicine Association (ISMA).

Her training philosophy is a combination of weight training, cardiovascular activity, and proper nutrition.  With the proper amount of each, anyone will achieve fitness success and continue to live a healthy lifestyle.
